Mango season is upon us again! Here's well-known Territory horticulturalist Chris Nathanael harvesting a few mangoes back in 1980. Chris has been in the Top End for 54 years, spending 39 years of those researching and growing edible plants in the tropics. While he says it may not be a bumper mango season this year, he reckons there will still be plenty to go around. And Chris certainly does his bit to keep consumer demand strong. “I love eating them,” he says. “I can eat up to ten per day.”
